Studio Policies

We keep our policies simple so everyone gets a fair shot at a spot and every class starts calm.

Booking

Book through our website or the Mindful Owl Yoga app. A reservation holds your spot until class starts.

Cancelling a class

Regular classes: cancel free up to 1 hour before class starts, online or in the app.
Radiant Yin: cancel at least 8 hours ahead. There are only 10 mats.
Events, workshops and sound baths: cancel free up to 24 hours before they start.

Late cancels and no-shows

Cancelling after the window, or booking and not coming, counts as a late cancel or no-show:

Fees are non-refundable. If something truly unexpected happens, talk to us.

Arriving late

Doors lock 2 minutes after class begins. Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, especially for your first class.

Waitlist

If a class is full, join the waitlist. If a spot opens, you’re added to the class automatically and notified. From that moment the usual cancel rules apply, so only join waitlists for classes you can make.

Guests

Unlimited and Annual members can bring 1 guest per month, booked in advance. Mini Monthly doesn’t include guest classes. Guests accept our Liability Waiver when they create an account.

Young students

Students of any age are welcome if they can practice safely and respectfully. Under 16: practice with a parent or guardian in the room. Under 18: a parent or guardian accepts our Liability Waiver. Heated classes are hard on young bodies; please use good judgment.

Refunds

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Memberships, packs and credits can’t be transferred to another person or exchanged for other products.

When memberships and passes start

Every membership, One Month Unlimited and 2 Weeks Unlimited starts on the day of your first class with it.

Credit expiration

Single class 2 months · 10-class pack 6 months · Open Practice 1 month · Radiant Yin 3 months · event credits 1 month, all from the date of purchase.

Freezing a membership

Freeze up to 60 days total per calendar year, in up to 3 freezes. No fee. Freezes beyond that aren’t available; you’re welcome to cancel and rejoin later at current pricing.

Cancelling a membership

Cancel online, in the app, or by emailing info@mindfulowl.yoga at least 5 days before your next billing date (15 days for Annual). Monthly plans have a 3-month minimum. Full terms are in our Membership Agreement.

Purchase Terms

These apply to 2 Weeks Unlimited, One Month Unlimited, class packs, single classes, Open Practice, Radiant Yin and events. By completing a purchase from Yoga Universe, LLC, doing business as Mindful Owl Yoga, you agree to these terms, the policies above and our Liability Waiver.

All sales are final. Purchases are non-refundable and can’t be transferred to another person or exchanged for other products.
Classes: cancel free up to 1 hour before class (Radiant Yin: 8 hours). After that, or if you don’t show, 2 Weeks Unlimited and One Month Unlimited are charged a $10 fee; class packs, single classes, Open Practice and Radiant Yin use the credit.
Events, workshops and sound baths: cancel free up to 24 hours before the start. After that, or if you don’t show, the event credit is used.
No auto-renew. 2 Weeks Unlimited and One Month Unlimited are one-time purchases and do not renew.
2 Weeks Unlimited is for first-time students only, one per person, and runs 14 consecutive days starting the day of your first class. One Month Unlimited runs 1 month starting the day of your first class.
Expiration. Unused credits expire as listed above. Expired credits can’t be refunded or extended.
The 10-class pack can be used for you or a guest.
If Mindful Owl cancels an event, you’ll receive a credit or refund.
