Yoga Universe, LLC, doing business as Mindful Owl Yoga (“we,” “our,” “us”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and safeguard your information when you visit mindfulowl.yoga or use our mobile app (together, the “Services”). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Services.
Information we collect
Personal data. Your name, email address, phone number and other contact details when you create an account, book a class, subscribe to our emails or contact us.
Payment information. Card details needed to process your purchase. Payments are handled by our payment processor and are not stored on our servers.
Usage data. How you use the Services, such as pages visited, links clicked and time spent.
Device information. Your device’s IP address, operating system, browser type and device identifiers.
Location data. With your consent, your device’s location, to provide location-based features such as mobile check-in.
How we use your information
To provide our Services: to create and manage your account, process purchases and bookings, provide support and contact you about your account.
To improve our Services: to understand how the Services are used and make them better.
To send promotions: with your consent, emails and texts about classes, events and offers. You can opt out at any time.
For legal purposes: to comply with the law, protect our rights and prevent fraud or misuse.
How we share your information
Service providers. We share information with companies that work on our behalf, including our scheduling and booking provider (Mariana Tek), our payment processor (Stripe), and providers of email and text messaging, hosting, analytics and customer support.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if the law requires it or in response to valid requests from public authorities.
Business transfers. If the studio is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner.
Text messaging. If you opt in to receive text messages from Mindful Owl Yoga, we collect your mobile phone number and a record of your consent. We use this information to send class and appointment reminders, account notices and, where you have agreed, marketing messages. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. We share this information only with service providers that deliver messages on our behalf. See our Text Message Terms.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Access and correction. You can view and update your account information in your account settings.
A copy of your data. You can request a copy of your personal data in a common, machine-readable format.
Deletion. You can ask us to delete your personal information, subject to exceptions allowed by law.
Opting out. Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email. Stop texts by replying STOP to any message.
Children’s privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
