Real numbers, not marketing claims
Most red light companies publish the brightest reading from a single bulb at zero distance. We measured our mats ourselves, with a calibrated meter, the way you’ll actually use them.
| Red light at 1 inch above the mat | ≈1.25 mW/cm² |
| Red light over a 50-minute class | ≈3.75 J/cm² |
| LEDs | Red + near-infrared (labeled 660 / 850 nm) |
| Mat size | 71 × 31.5 in |
Measured with a Solarmeter 9.6, which reads the red range only. Near-infrared output is in addition to these numbers. Red light mats are not FDA-cleared medical devices, and this class is not a medical treatment.
Questions
How much does it cost?
$40 per class. Unlimited members (including anyone on our 2-week intro) pay $10. Class packs and Mini Monthly pay $40.
Is it heated?
No. The warmth comes from the mat under you. The room itself is not heated.
What will I feel?
Gentle warmth along your spine, hips and shoulders while you rest in long, supported Yin holds. Most people describe it as deeply relaxing.
Is it right for everyone?
Please talk to your doctor first if you are pregnant, take medication that makes you sensitive to light, have a seizure disorder, thyroid disease or active cancer. Eye protection is provided.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Because there are only 10 mats, please cancel at least 8 hours ahead. Late cancels and no-shows use the class credit.
Is this a medical treatment?
No. It’s a Yin class on red light mats. We don’t make medical claims; we just share what we measured below.
